Once again, Emily is back in Paris, and she’s ready to take on all the romantic, work, and fashion-related antics that get thrown her way for yet another season. Marylin Fitoussi—the costume designer who succeeded Patricia Field after season two—has been hard at work curating a new selection of looks that will simultaneously shock and inspire.
The first half of the season has officially hit Netflix, and already a masquerade ball, night club opening, and just those average days at the office have provided quite the parade of costumes. But there is more to come when part two is released on September 12th. In the meantime, check out a breakdown of the ensembles we’ve seen so far—each neon jacket, fringed bag, and fur boot—as well as where to purchase the most conspicuous pieces for yourself.
Of course, Mindy has to stand out next to Emily’s pink and green look (which the marketing maven pairs with Nodaleto closed-toe pumps), so she pulls out a floral PatBo dress and some neon green Francesca Bellavita mules.
Julien starts off the season strong in a patterned green crewneck sweater.
Sylvie proves her chic French style hasn’t dissipated at all between seasons, arriving to the office in episode one wearing a suede gray Rick Owens suit and a padded Saint Laurent shoulder bag
Mindy’s whole crew is ready to stand out this season. Here, we see them walking through Paris; Etienne in a pink, sequined Patrick Church set with an adorable little Marrknull mini bag, Mindy in a Philipp Plein graffiti-covered cropped jacket and dress with a blue metallic Ganni bag and Ruslan Baginskiy sailor cap, and Benoit opting for the more casual approach in a Scotch & Soda leather jacket.
Mindy accessorizes her “couture” JVMA dress with a Mach & Mach bag and pumps.
Emily and Alfie share an emotional moment at Roland Garros with Alfie in collared, short-sleeved knit from Hugo Boss and Emily in a red and white striped blazer.
Best friends Mindy and Emily complement each other in monochromatic outfits. Mindy stands out in a vintage Thierry Mugler mini dress from 1996, accessorized with a beaded Andrew Gn belt, thigh-high metallic blue boots from Christian Louboutin’s now-sold-out collaboration with Marvel, and a beaded Germanier shoulder bag. The all-yellow Emily, meanwhile, tops a sheer Marlene Birger ruffled blouse and Isabel Marant corduroy miniskirt with a yellow wax jacket from Possery. She then finishes off the look with a quirky Silvia Tcherassi fringed bag, yellow checkered Marni socks, platform Sergio Rossi heels, and a Lelet NY pony cuff in her hair.
Of course, Julien has to dress up for his first day at JVMA, and he does so in a pink cardigan from Drôle de Monsieur.
Maybe, Julien slipped into the JVMA closet during his lunch break and picked up another Drôle de Monsieur sweater.
Emily’s crisp cobalt blue suit, Rabanne pointed-toe boots, and a Pierre Hardy handbag are a chic departure for the ex-pat.
Gabriel might need a shower, but he doesn’t need a new closet. The chef looks great in his green and blue Lacoste cardigan.
Emily and Camille show off their very different morning looks. Emily is in a colorful running outfit with a floral vest and Salomon sneakers. Camille, meanwhile, is ready for a day of meetings in a black lace Fidan Novruzova set with heeled loafers from Alohas and a Thom Browne box bag.
Mindy knows a good outfit starts and ends with the accessories, so it’s no surprise she pairs her floral, off-the-shoulder Zimmermann dress with a sky blue Ruslan Baginskiy Breton hat and an iconic Schiaparelli spring 2022 bag.
When Emily isn’t clashing colors, she’s classing patterns. Here, she pairs a brown Miu Miu vest with a Sébline spring 2024 striped shirt and tie for a chic office look.
Likely Emily’s most dramatic look of the season thus far is courtesy of Nina Ricci, and while the jumpsuit is custom—based off a piece from the designer’s fall 2023 collection—the hat is luckily shoppable.
Sylvie, meanwhile, seems to take a more low-key approach when it comes to the masquerade ball, opting to wear a crystal-adorned, high-neck Maison Rabih Kayrouz spring 2023 couture dress.
As Mindy says in episode four, “being French looks good” on Emily, as does the gathered Missoni button down she wears with a matching skirt and red Delvaux mini bag.
The always-chic Sylvie stays warm in a sleeveless turtleneck sweater dress and brown fur coat while still managing to show off her sculptural Charlotte Chesnais bracelet and Tod’s crossbody bag.
This is likely one of the more theatrical looks we’ve seen from Emily so far this season. The marketing expert wears a black and white wool Andrew Gn coat with feathered cuffs and Victorian-style buttons. Underneath, she opts for a black and yellow checked corset and culottes, layered atop a ruffled shirt with a yellow bowtie.
Emily goes for a ’70s look in a scarab-print blouse from La Double J. Later, she tops the look with a matching cape.
Julien has been carrying Emily in Paris’s men’s fashion on his back for three seasons now, and it seems that season four is no different. Here we see him in a colorful and cozy Isabel Marant bomber jacket and a yellow mini bag from Domestique.
Even when Mindy is practicing with her band, she’s doing so in style. The singer wears a green and black houndstooth Ivy Park jumpsuit with a cutout at the bust while prepping for her gig at Laurent’s new club.
Emily wears a floral Balmain spring/summer 2024 dress to the big opening of Laurent’s new Paris nightclub, while Sylvie wears a Christopher Esber dress with a sculptural neckline.
It’s no surprise Mindy’s Eurovision-bound band plays the opening of the club, and of course, they do so in style. For the performance, Mindy wears a pink, ruffled dress from Germanier spring 2024, while Étienne manages to stand out on his own in a blue, star-covered shirt from Maison J.Simone.
Camille is ready to take it up a notch this season, specifically with this ’80s-style leather Kate Barton spring 2024 dress with a cutout on the torso and exaggerated shoulders.
Emily and Mindy test out the new desserts at L’Esprit de Gigi in matching black and white outfits with Emily specifically wearing a Valentino mini dress featuring a ruffle detail on the bodice.
Mindy helps Li with her Agence Grateau meeting in a mint greed tweed Balmain jacket.
Camille and her girlfriend, Sofia, go furniture shopping in Paris with Sofia wearing a quilted skirt and jacket set from La Double J and Camille in a Vaillant spring 2024 jacket and ultra mini skirt.
Emily enjoys a gorgeous view with Gabriel while wearing a Thom Browne fall 2023 coat and heart-shaped Vivienne Westwood fall 2023 bag.
Underneath her Thom Browne coat, Emily layers a studded bustier dress and gray ribbed turtleneck.
Emily attends the Kadience event at the Galeries Lafayette in a SixDo spring 2024 feathered skirt and a red and black striped Sonia Rykiel sweater.
Later, Emily tops the look with a Antik Batik fall 2022 embroidered cape coat.
Camille shares her news with her friend while wearing leopard-print wool jacket with a matching mini skirt from Celine. She finishes off the ensemble with a Victoire shoulder bag from the brand.
While part two of the season does not drop until mid-September, we already have a sneak peek of some of the looks to come. Here we see Emily with a new friend at the office, wearing a red leather jacket, floral black and white tie, checked shirt from Marni fall 2023, and a fur lined shoulder bag from Ozias.
While many may wear leggings and their biggest sweatshirt for a day of travel, Emily opts for an Isabel Marant Étoile faux shearling coat with toggle fastenings, brown leather Christian Louboutin over-the-knee boots, a Soeur bag, and a sailor-style hat. Behind her, she drags a cornflower blue Rimowa bag.
Is this the first time we’ve ever seen Emily in a very on-trend deep brown hue? If so, she should consider the palette more as she looks especially chic in a matching, (presumably faux) fur jacket and hat.
Luc and Julien reunite in the office, though the latter takes the sartorial crown in his 3.Paradis printed wool blazer.
