LKQ bolsters leadership team with three strategic appointments

LKQ UK & Ireland has reinforced its leadership team by appointing a new chief operating officer, along with a B2B trade director and a divisional director for the South at LKQ Euro Car Parts.

Tony Shearer has been promoted to chief operating officer, bringing 16 years of experience with the company to the LKQ board.

In his new role, Shearer will oversee logistics, supply chain operations, and commercial operations for the UK and Ireland Group, reporting to Ferdinando Imhof, chief procurement and supply chain officer.

Shearer’s promotion follows the retirement of Richard Morgan, the outgoing COO, who will continue as a board advisor.

Additionally, Matt Robinson has been named B2B trade director for LKQ Euro Car Parts. He will manage relationships with over 25,000 independent garages and workshops, focusing on strategic development to ensure customer access to expertise, products, and training.

Robinson, who joined LKQ five years ago, steps into this role from his previous position as regional director for the south.

Adam Ince (above) will succeed Robinson as divisional director for the south, overseeing 135 branches in the region. Ince brings 23 years of industry experience, having most recently served as sales director at GSF Car Parts.

Kevan Wooden, CEO of LKQ UK & Ireland, said: “Tony, Matt, and Adam each bring invaluable perspectives and experiences to their new roles, playing a crucial part in shaping our strategy to support customers in a rapidly evolving market.”
