↗️ Gap (GPS): The clothing retailer’s stock rose 20% after quarterly profit and revenue beat Wall Street’s expectations.

↘️ Alibaba (BABA), (HK: 9988): American depositary receipts in the e-commerce giant fell 2%, extending losses sustained Thursday after it canceled the spinoff of its cloud-computing arm. Alibaba’s Hong Kong-listed shares lost 10%.

↗️ Ross Stores (ROST): The discount retailer’s stock rose, on track for their highest close since 2021, after boosting its outlook for full-year profits per share. Competitor TJX’s shares also advanced.
