Stoneacre transforms Ford centre in Scunthorpe, creates 30 new jobs

Stoneacre’s original flagship site in Scunthorpe is undergoing a significant refurbishment.

Established in 1995, the Winterton Road has been a cornerstone of the company’s operations and the extensive renovation will create a state-of-the-art Ford facility.

Stoneacre, which has grown to 102 franchise locations and employs 3,000 staff members, is committed to maintaining service quality during the renovation.

Temporary facilities will be in place to minimise disruption. To thank customers for their loyalty and patience during this period, the Scunthorpe dealership is offering a £500 discount voucher on any vehicle purchased at the site.

Shaun Foweather, Stoneacre managing director, said: “We deeply appreciate the continued support from the people of Scunthorpe. We’re excited for the community to see the substantial investment in the area. The new facilities will ensure an unparalleled buying experience.”

The transformation into a Ford centre is also set to create around 30 new jobs, with the project involving collaboration with ten local contractors.

Stoneacre’s network, which has expanded steadily over nearly 30 years through strategic acquisitions.
